Cleveland resident Evan Linger believes his thrash band Skeletonwitch doesn't so much reinvent the heavy-metal wheel as it enjoys a familiar ride. The hard-hitting quintet has booked a Grog Shop show. Also, local folk-pop singer-songwriter Mike Uva is back in action with his backing band The Bad Eyes scheduled to play the Beachland Tavern.

Scream by Mike Dellosso Chapter 1 Mark Stone could still smell the grease on his hands. The thing that should not be Today I’d like to talk about Metallica. As some of you trendy hipsters probably know, Metallica released a brand spanking new album last week, called Death Magnetic. And while I haven’t listened to the entire album yet, I have heard 4 or 5 of the new songs on the radio. Which is surprising, because I hate FM radio with a white hot passion.
