An Erie shredder has given up his guitar-for-hire life and has formed a new original band Sonny Lombardozzi Invasion. Lombardozzi said the band sought out someone who can really sing instead of just scream, though he promises the music is still brutal. The debut is Saturday night at Sherlocks.

Avenged Sevenfold on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 at Rock Fest. M. Shadows, frontman of hard rock band Avenged Sevenfold, sang Saturday night at Rock Fest north of Cadott. Pyrotechnics were a big part of the show for the group, which made its debut at the annual music festival.
