Southern-rock kings, piano-pop royalty, punk legends, prog icons, metal gods and more -- all the VIPs are in the house this week.

Before the Black Crowes unplug for another hiatus, they unplug to cut acoustic versions of 22 cuts from their first six studio albums. But don't think campfire music; while many of these replays hew toward the rootsier, Band-like side of their musical personality, there's enough southern-rock jam juice in the cuts to let you know Chris Robinson and co. are going out with a bang.
