The debut album of PUTREVORE is scheduled for a September release through XTREEM MUSIC under the title of "Morphed from Deadbreath". PUTREVORE is a project band formed back in 2004 by Dave Rotten (AVULSED/ CHRIST DENIED) on vocals and Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER/ RIBSPREADER) on guitars/ bass with the intention of bringing back the most heavy, purtid and dark sounds of the old school Death Metal directly influenced by bands like INCANTATION, ROTTREVORE, GRAVE, FUNEBRE, DETERIOROT... Unquestionably, summer 2008 will be remembered as a time when very few significant artists released new albums. With the notable exceptions of Beach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson and My Morning Jacket, most of the summer's finest music was being heard at festivals and inside concert halls, not in living rooms or at the gym on an iPod.
